Morsi Supporters
I came to Luxor town after being told it was safe to do so. On arrival I found the atmosphere electric, it was amazing to see so many people looking at this large helicopter flying low over the town, it seemed to be circling the governors building on the corniche, although there, I think they may have been anti Motsi protesters. Apparently this army helicopter was dropping flags down to the people. Each time the helicopter came over the governors building, there were fireworks being set off.
The demonstration in the evening were I was were Morsi supporters. There were thousands of them as it got to about 8-pm where they marched around and through the town.
I was told that there was an incident at a hotel where someone got shot in an argument and died. Also there are rumors that churches have been attacked; all unconfirmed.
After my photo session at the Abu el Haggag square, I had tea with an Imam from the Mosque there. A lovely man and it was quite reassuring sitting next to him.
The road that leads to the governors building was block off by the police, perhaps to keep the protesters away or to keep the area secure.

There was a large group of women playing their part in the demonstration.
