If you are for the kicking,
you can take a walk over the mountain above the Kings Valley. You go through the Visitors Hall and
walk up the road towards the valley.
On the left just before the next ticket office there is a pathway that
will take you over the mountain. You can get to the Eastern and Western side of
the valley. Not only do you not have to pay an entrance fee but you also can
take your camera with you. The
views from the top are wonderful and stunning. It is ok for tourists and walkers
to take this path so don’t worry.
KV27 & KV28
This is the entrance to the
Western side of the valley, it is beautiful, and the colours and shapes of the
rocks and mountains are wonderful.
Here you can find the tomb of Amenhotep III along with many others. Not many tourists visit this part of
the valley.
