Revolution II
Amazingly quiet this afternoon. Everything seemed quite normal if it was not for the fact that there are no tourists and shops being closed.
It is impossible to do any shopping. For those mens shops that are not covered up, all others have had their stock removed and lay empty.
ATM machines all have queues at them. The Army are great and so polite to talk to.
By late afternoon the situation changed. There was a peaceful march of Pro-Mubarak supporters along the Corniche and into Hagag square. They had banners with pictures of Mubarak and his wife. Most were nice to talk to and they were polite in sharing their feeling with me. Naturally, I am always very polite and ask if it is ok to take photos. Some say no, so I just move on. Most though are ok about it and want to tell you their stories.
I met many private men guarding their shops and businesses with stick. They are in general, very cheerful and are glad to talk to you.
I think things will get worse now that we have two opposing protesting groups. They are bound to clash. Lets hope that they all know each other and keep it peaceful.
