Revolution V - Breaking News
Hosni Mubarak has stepped down as President. Cairo is jubilant, people are so happy. Today there was a large Anti Gov march through the town and onto Hagag square. It was organised with leaders speaking through loud hailers. I also saw a group that had a cross and must have been a Christian order. Now at last, things can slowly get back to normal.
I was amongst these people, I felt their needs, and I spoke to them. I am quite moved now because the people have got what they wanted. I hope there is a smooth transition to a new government. Em Shala.

Top left. This says it all. A single family had made its own protest with flag and signs and in a country where women are quite. Well done. I am so happy for these people.
Top right. There are no tourists here, perhaps two or three. The Motor Boats that ply their business taking people across the Nile have lost their income. They have resulted in attracting the people who use the ferries and taking them across the Nile in groups. Usually a motorboat will cost 5 egp. They are taking ferry passengers for a cost of 0.50 egp each, the same price as the ferries. Not bad if you look at the photo. Good business, Clever. Everyone is happy especially as the Ferryboats are government run.
